About a couple of years ago, I became a sports content creator and started writing articles about the New York Mets for different sports sites. I’ve also become a professional content creator reflecting on personal experiences, including my interest in sports media. While it’s been an interesting ride, I know there’s always room for improvement.
I want my audience to know I value my work ethic, and I know that by improving my content creation, I’ll be even more successful than I am now. That’s why I’m reflecting on my personal experience with content.
The Content Itself
Something I often ask myself nowadays is, “What is my content?” The best answer I have is my interests, and there is more than one.
Quite a few people, from family to friends, have told me that because of all my interests, I’m in such a good place. At first, I didn’t 100% believe that, because I don’t have time to do all of them, especially in a job. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t do them on my own and document them in print form. My present music background is something I do on my own, and although I’ve documented it in video form, I still put that interest in some of my content posts.
While I understand that, for future employment purposes, I need to narrow down what I really want to do with content, I also know I create meaningful personal posts, whether on this blog or social media.
The Strategy
Having a strategy when creating content is highly recommended and very important. For me, being consistent is a big one. I’ve been practicing consistently publishing meaningful posts about my interests, and I know that by continuing to do so, things will only get better for me, even on my social media platforms. In fact, “being consistent” has been on my mind for a while, and I know it will help me as I get older.
This strategy also relates to whether I use AI-generated images or writing for my content. AI has been discussed in all sorts of fields in life these days. In my experience, I know my writing is my own because copying and pasting from AI isn’t acceptable, but sometimes I look things up for ideas and samples if I need help.
For images, Canva has been a big help for putting designs together for content images. There are plenty of templates to use and edit for any kind of post, so I know how to use the service effectively for my content.
Future Improvement
Based on everything I’ve discussed, I feel that I’m getting a good preview of what my life could be like in the coming years. However, as I’ve said in some of my social media posts, I still need to keep putting effort into everything, and I will!
